- The pictures you see to the right are some of the cats that are waiting for a home ready for adoption. WHO WE ARE A new animal rescue group is getting started in East Stroudsburg. Animals Can't Talk Rescue and Adoption, Inc. (ACT) is a 501c-3 corporation, and is an all volunteer organization. ACT hopes to help as many unwanted, lost and abused animals as they can. All are veterinarian checked, inoculated, treated (when necessary), spayed and neutered (our primary thrust) and cared for until adopted. ACT's main objective is to find them good homes. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions. ACT will also give advice to people who have colonies of ferals and want to do trap/neuter/return. At the present time, due to lack of foster homes, ACT is mainly concentrating on cats. However, we just took in a young German Shepherd mix and her EIGHT puppies. The puppies have been adopted, but Momma still needs a home. ACT is also looking for volunteers who can work amiably with each other for the benefit of the animals. ACT will speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
I adopted my cat Lily from this rescue and we couldn't be happier.

ReplyDeleteMy roomate adopted a cat named Daisy III, 3 weeks ago from PetSmart in Bartonsvile. What a GREAT cat she is! She makes us laugh out loud all the time with her teenage antics. My Chihuahua and her spar sometimes, but they so enjoy each other. Her name has been changed to reflect her personality. so as she was Daisy III then, she is now Molly Maguire! Born on March 17th, she HAS to be Irish. I cant thank ACT enough for briging us this lovely girl!
